I was all excited to start blogging soon and of course nothing comes to me. Last night my sweet little girl woke up throwing up. Luckily, for me she hardly ate anything yesterday! She seem to be doing fine so who knows if its a tummy bug or what!? I just will take any excuse to cuddle and have a movie day. I should be cleaning but I guess that I can do it tomorrow. Besides, My stupid washer broke a few weeks ago so the only way I can do laundry is if Jake is here to rig it so it doesn't flood everywhere! We should get out new one in a week or two. I guess that is what happens when you order a new one around the holidays! Some days I honestly forget how grateful I am I get so caught up in what I want and how I want things that I don't realize that the most important stuff is right in front of me with my family. I get stressed out when all need to do is take a breathe and slow down in life, take all the small moments and treat them as they will be our last. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life and its funny how long it has taken to get some of the important parts of life. While I am still learning new thing in this life I just feel so blessed to have gained this knowledge so that I can guide my kids in the right direction and feed them the spiritual guidance that I lacked growing up. I understand you can't control your kids forever but I feel as through my life experiences I have gained tools to help me lead them to make better choices. I know this had gone in a lot of different directions but I hope that it makes as much sense to you as it did going through my head!

Lets try this again..

I am going to attempt to try blogging again. I love writing in my journal now that I have started that again so I figure why not take it to another level and try this as well. This time I think it will be different I intend to really write about thing I feel strongly about as well as post stuff about my amazing kids and family. Also, new things I try, about things I feel differently from raising each kid, about my sobriety, being a member of the Latter Day Saint Church (Mormon), the challenges that face, and how it is all connected to one thing or another. I will try and do this at least twice a week. This is just my beginning goal. I hope to get into this more than that but starting small is probably the best that way if I fail it won't be too bad!! ;)

TwO mOnThS!!!

Oh my gosh two months already this isn't fair but it is so much fun as you can see we have gone swimming, we got seven peaks season passes and we have some fun we've only gone twice but it was so much fun paityn loved it as long as she takes her power nap.

This month has gone by fast paityn is such a strong baby she hold her head up very good and she loves to stand when your holding her, she also loves to be held outwards so she can look at everything with those beautiful eyes of hers. She already has so much personality its amazing, she now weighs 10 pd and 12oz

On May 2nd we went to lunch for my grandmas birthday and as we were sitting there we realized there was four generation of paityns aunts there so we took a picture its was very neat and fun!!



Jake and I have gone to the wise guys comedy show a few time and they have a hypnotise and Jake has gone up there a few times to get hypnotize and he was so funny we've really enjoyed it.

A few days ago we put Paityn in the Johnny Jumper and as you can

see she loves it, she is a very happy content baby and we just love her to death.

She has the most contagious smile and she has dimples on both side

Today she is 7 weeks old! She has started to love the bath which i was worried about

cause we go seven peaks season passes and so yesterday me and shalynn took the kids to lehi

legacy indoor pool and she loved it she cried for a little bit but that was to take a nap

and she woke and we got back in a loved it!

It makes me sad how fast they grow but i enjoy every minute of it i take

so many pictures and its just been so fun!!

1 month update!!

We were so excited to celebrate her first easter we to great grandma hughes and great grandma millers.

Its been fun having a baby me and jake really enjoy it, she is a very good baby she sleeps through the night and only cries when she's hungry or as you can see when she is getting a bath..

I really like to dress her up but none of her cloths fit yet but it didnt hurt to try.

Jake just loves to cuddle with her they are just to cute together!!

Paityn is definitly Jakes daughter, she not only looks like him but makes the faces he does, when paityn is awake she is wide awake, we really enjoy having her apart of our family.. Its very sad to think she'll be a month this week..

At her two week visit she weight 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches, she is doing good were trying to get her to take a bottle she only takes them from Jake, now i just got to get the hang of pumping lol, we've tried to give her the binki again only jake can get her to take them but i think she'll rather have her thumb she is tryin so hard to get the hang of it.. well thats our little paityn i'll try to keep up on this!!

Finally an Update!!

OK!!! So, April 2, 2009 we went into the hospital at 6am to start my labor, well we finally got it started at about 8am and by 10am i was feeling a little bit of contractions and by 12 i really felt them and as i was having contractions with my wonderful husband by my side trying to comfort me was confused as why i was in so much pain but on the contraction screen its didn't look like i was in any pain at all lol but he did his best to be very patient with me he even moved so i couldn't see him eat my food. ( I hadn't ate since 6pm the night before) He even gave me hugs and kisses while i was having contractions and when i scream at him he wondered why i was so mad, but i wouldn't ask for no one else to be by my side.

By 2pm i got the heavenly gift... The Epidural, which was funny cause as i was crying in between contractions and getting poke over and over again Jake couldn't take it and had to leave the room, when he came back in he just paced back and forth saying i don't know what got into me, as the nurses told him to sit down cause it was called shock lol...

Well long story short after about 13 hours of labor i had a c section, it went very well i wasn't very alert that i knew of Jake said i was wide awake but the minute we heard her cry we looked and each other and just cried, she Weighted 7 Pounds 3 Ounces and 19 Inches and was born at 9:19pm.

I wasn't able to see her for a while but Jake just kept telling me how beautiful she was and he just grinned from ear to ear, it was the best day of our lives.

We have been blessed with a good baby she sleeps through the night, and if she's crying its cause she's really hungry, getting changed or bathed, but other than that she has the biggest eyes and when she is awake she is wide awake and when she is asleep she is out.. I'll try and update more often cause I'm pretty camera happy with her...

Good news!!

So i just got back from the doctors and Ive started to dilate... and the doctor said i "probably" wont make it to my due date the best news a pregnant women could get!!!

Is it over yet!

Well, today I'm 36 weeks and only have 4 weeks to go, Ive never been so excited in my life but at the same time so anxious to have a baby.. I feel like Ive waited long enough and that she can come out anytime now and id be so happy. I went to the doctors today and he didn't check me and for some reason i was mad, i know its still a little early, and i know its only one week til my next appointment, being pregnant hasn't been as bad as i thought it'd be, for me anyways but for Jake Ive been realizing how moody Ive been and how easy i can going from being all lovely with him to not wanting one thing to do with him... and yet he still loves me! Well I'll keep you posted on the baby and when she's going to come!!! YAY...

35 weeks!

Valentine's Concert...

Well me and Jake went to the Celion Dion concert last night and i had never seen him so excited, when we first got there we had to wait in this long line and he was like we have to see who opens for her it could be josh groben ( his other idol) i was like Jake i don't think were that lucky. So we finally got in our seats and he was like a nervous wreck, i don't think i ever seen him so excited, well throughout the whole concert he was recording songs and trying to take pictures with his phone but we had sucky seats and on the ticket it said don't bring your camera so we didn't and of course everyone else did so we were sad. Then after the show we were walking to the car and he was telling that, that was the best concert ever and he didn't even get bored, so i said how about the next time she's in concert close by well go and get front seat, thinking he'd say no we already seen her... but no he says that would be so cool then i can try and touch her hand... It was a very cool concert and we enjoyed.....

Valentines Day!!!

So The last few days Ive been listening to the radio (KBull 93) and there giving out free tickets to rascal Flatt's, they mixed polka music with one of their songs and every time it came i knew the song and the person got it wrong so it kinda started making me mad and then yesterday a little obsessed, i was sitting at work slacking and listening to the radio so i could win this game, so i sat around during nap time for about two hours listening trying to win but of course the first time i got the wrong number and then the second time learned that my phone doesn't second 5 digit number text so i was pretty much out of luck so then i was going online to see how much the tickets were after seeing it i just gave up... Then i started looking around to see who else was coming in concert and i saw Celion Dion, and for you who don't know Jake loves her!!! Well i debated with myself and ask several people what they would do, cause i was just going to put it on my credit card and not tell him how i got it, but me keeping something from Jake is hard cause then when i see him i feel guilty and have to open my mouth plus i wasn't sure how he'd respond to it... So i got the tickets and wasn't going to tell!!! So i was like that was easy all i got to do now is wait til Saturday, but then he came home and i just sat there and was like i have to show him.. and he kinda knew i was trying to win the tickets, so i was like i got something for you and he was like what we get to go watch some gay guys sing, then i gave it to him and when he opened it up his eyes got so big and he was pretty excited, he went online to see where out seats were and he said why didn't you get closer seats??? So ya where going to the Celion Dion concert next Sunday and to my surprise Jake is so excited about it!!! HAPPY VALETINES TO EVERYONE!!

Basketball!!

So im the one in my family who is not as talented as the rest i liked more girly things as for my sister and brothers all love sports and are amazingly good at them alex played on the football team, he tried out for the basketball team but didnt make it but he is the manager, And Erika she is all basketball, most of her games she is the lead scorer, and since jr. jazz has changed her attitude 180 degrees and has good sportsmanship. she is a junior on the varsity team, and a awesome player at her game this last tuesday she scored 17 points. They sadly lost but played their best and kept their head in the game til the end. Heres some pictures...

Almost Here!!

30 weeks! WOW!! Its been a fun adventure.... Were on our third class for the prenatal, that's been fun and I think that it'll be a big help in the end, and Jake gets pretty into lol.. :) Last night we officially decided on the name Paityn Marne Finch!! So now that were ready all we do is wait now!

No sleep!

I really wasn't prepared for this, I thought you would feel the same tired as you did in the first few months, but no not only am I tired, but the most I've slept at night in the last week is three in a half hours. I was prepared for this when the baby comes, but not now it's been hard working and playing this sleep deprivation game and now I know why most people tell me the third semester is miserable, and I'm glad Jake lets me sleep when I can usually he's trying to get me up to do things, and tonight is our first prenatal class and I'm way stoked about that I think Jake is kinda scared cause Jared told him how you watch a baby born all different ways and you see everything, so it'll be fun!!

Random

Jake and I had a very good christmas.! We went to a lot of family things and stayed busy which is always nice, even though by christmas I was worn out and very overwhelmed by being around a lot of people which is weird cause out of me and Jake i'm the one who loves big crowds and Jake thinks the less people the better. Being pregnant you do a lot of growing up with out realizing it until little things happen and your like whats the matter with me!! lol but I've realized there is a lot more to life then, gettin married and having kids, its the lessons your learn with those blessing! We really thought being married was so easy and was a piece of cake ha....ha....ha It's A LOT of work but it's been an amazing adventure esppiecially with jake and i know'd he'd say the same about me, and before getting pregnant i thought it would be easy... can i just say how nervous we are but we'll be ready to start our new journey as a family.

Christmas Already!!!!

This is year I am clearly not ready for christmas to be here!!! I did all my christmas shopping today and still feel like I'm not ready, last year it was done the first week in December. Tonight was the BIG family christmas party and it was fun, I hadn't laughed that hard for awhile, Jake is just to funny he totally surprised people by staring at the same place and standing so still for as long as he did making the funniest face ever and he even got spanked by santa and still isn't over it. This will be mine and Jake's second christmas being married and its so crazy how time goes by so fast, it feels like just yesterday we got married and now were months ways from having a baby. Well it getting late and im going to bed but Early Merry Christmas!!!

Crib!

So if you've talked to me recently me and Jake have had some disagreements on a crib, well yesterday Jake came to his senses... lol, Just kidding. Well we first started looking on the computer for a crib but, couldn't decide on one, or find the one I want it had a changing table on it, so we just decide to go shopping around. We found a crib at the first store that we both loved! So then I got really baby hungry and wanted to get the mattress and the bed set and a stroller and car seat but Jake said not today but I was happy we got the crib!

Well we got home and set the crib up and Jake looks at me and says lets go get a mattress and bed set and of course I'm not going to disagree, so we went and got, I think it's slowly is hitting Jake that were going to have a baby and it's so cute cause he get all excited about it, which is good cause for awhile I didn't think he realized what was happening cause he would look at my belly and ask why it was getting bigger? But that's Jake gotta love him!!!

A Little update!

SO... our Thanksgiving was good, we went to my grandparents house and ate and visited, it was pretty fun to get together with the family, cause were all loud and crazy and still drive the adults crazy!!! :)









Then we went up to the cabin where Jake's family was and ate some more lol and visited, I love the cabin it the perfect get away and its not even that far, it's a place where no one can reach you and you can't be bugged... But overall it was a great thanksgiving!
And this last week has been pretty boring, I've had the flu this weekend and the medicine they give you for it is not pleasant, but it helped a lot!!! This week my goal is to make sure Jake starts his lessons he likes to put certain things off til the last minute, so hopefully he can get done early and not feel so overwhelmed, then I won't feel so overwhelmed, well I'm going to bed and hopefully i can keep doing good at this lol good night!!!

Vacation? What's that?

So the last five days I've been on the East coast and lets just say WOW! What an adventure!!! Thursday night I went to visit the only living great grandparents I have, even tho it was sad cause my grandfather wasn't doing good..Then friday i went to my aunt mary k's with her 5 kids but only 4 live with her and stayed with her and thats when my adventure started. Its the biggest culture shock, for fun her kids like to get together with their friends and listen to gospel music, and that's all they listened to, thankgoodness for ipods.... Then saturday afternoon i flew to north carolina to meet my grandpa and his wife and my aunt so i got there about 7 p.m. and found out i was going to georgia to so i caould stay a night with my dad which is a four hour drive... so we meet him and when i got there i went on a few cab runs with my dad and wow... thats crazy georgia is full black people and lots of clubs... its very pretty but is swamp... so sunday i went to the beach and to this resturant called pauladeen and oh my heck the best fried chicken i'd ever have!! then went and meet my grandpa to stay back up in carolina. so i finally got back to carolina at 11 p.m. and then monday was the only day i actually relaxed and it was all by myself that was the best day lol just kidding when my grandpa came home he took me shopping and then i saw my great aunt dot, then tuesday i woke up and was so happy to come home to see jake five days is to long to be away from him....
